This Return Policy explains how returns are handled for automotive engines sold through Arthur Gonzalez JDM Engines. Please review this information carefully before placing an order.
We sell both used and refurbished automotive engines. The condition of each engine is clearly stated on the product page and included in your order details.
Due to the nature of automotive engines, most engine sales are considered final. Returns are only accepted for engines that are unused, uninstalled, and meet the eligibility requirements outlined below, or if the engine is confirmed to be defective or damaged on arrival.
Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery. The return period begins on the confirmed delivery date provided by the carrier.

A 25% restocking fee applies to all approved non-defective returns (e.g., changed mind or ordered wrong part). This fee covers inspection, testing, repackaging, and administrative handling.
No restocking fee applies to engines confirmed to be defective or damaged on arrival.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on non-defective returns. Return shipping must be arranged and paid for by the customer using a freight carrier.
Engines must be properly packaged to help prevent damage during return transit. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the engine is confirmed defective or damaged on arrival.
If an engine arrives defective or damaged:
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Refunds cannot be issued to alternate payment methods or third-party accounts.
Refunds are processed within 7 business days after the returned engine is received and inspected. Financial institutions may require an additional 3–5 business days to complete the refund.
