Return Policy
We stand behind the quality of the engines we sell. Because automotive engines are complex mechanical components, please review our return policy carefully before placing an order.
Engine Condition
We sell both used and refurbished JDM engines. The condition of each engine is clearly listed on the product page so you know exactly what you're purchasing before checkout.
Important Return Notice
Due to the nature of automotive engines, all sales are considered final once an engine has been installed, operated, modified, or disassembled.
Returns may only be considered for engines that remain unused, uninstalled, and in the same condition in which they were delivered, or for engines that arrive damaged or defective.
Return Request Deadline
Any return request must be submitted within 90 days of the delivery date shown by the shipping carrier.
Eligible Returns
To qualify for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:
- The engine has not been installed or used.
- No modifications, repairs, or alterations have been made.
- The engine remains in its original condition.
- All original packaging, paperwork, and included accessories are returned.
- Proof of purchase is provided.
- The engine has not been damaged while in the customer's possession.
Items That Cannot Be Returned
- Installed engines.
- Engines that have been started, operated, or tested.
- Modified or disassembled engines.
- Special-order or custom-sourced engines.
- Products sold as-is, core units, or parts-only items.
- Return requests submitted after 90 days.
Restocking Fee
Approved returns that are not related to shipping damage, defects, or warranty issues are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
This fee helps cover inspection, handling, testing, administrative costs, and repackaging of the returned item.
No restocking fee will be charged for approved returns involving verified shipping damage or confirmed defects.
Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on all approved non-defective returns.
Because engines ship by freight, return shipments must be properly packaged and secured to prevent damage during transportation.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is approved due to a verified shipping error, shipping damage, or product defect.
Once a return has been approved, the item must be securely shipped to our return facility in Orem, Utah. Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused.

Please do not return any engine or component without prior authorization. Unauthorized returns may be refused or delayed during processing.
Damaged or Defective Engines
If your engine arrives damaged or you believe there is a defect, contact us immediately.
- Visible shipping damage must be noted on the driver's delivery paperwork before signing.
- Any concealed damage or defect must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
- Please provide photographs and a detailed description of the issue.
- Verified claims will not be subject to a restocking fee.
- If a return is approved, return shipping may be covered by us.
Refunds
Once a returned item is received and inspected, approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during checkout.
Refunds cannot be issued to a different card, bank account, or third-party payment method.
Refund Processing Time
Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days after the returned engine has been received and inspected.
Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional few business days for the funds to appear in your account.
How to Start a Return
- Contact our team to request a return authorization.
- Provide your order number and reason for the return.
- Follow the return instructions provided by our staff.
- Ship the engine back using an approved freight carrier to the address above.
- Once received and inspected, your refund will be processed if approved.
