We stand behind the quality of the engines we sell. Because automotive engines are mechanical components that require proper handling and installation, please review this Return Policy carefully before placing an order.

Engine Condition

We sell used and refurbished JDM engines. The condition of each engine is listed on the product page before purchase.

Important Return Notice

Returns are only accepted for engines that remain unused, uninstalled, and in the same condition in which they were delivered.

Any engine that has been installed, started, operated, modified, disassembled, altered, or damaged after delivery is not eligible for return.

Return Request Deadline

All return or exchange requests must be submitted within 90 days from the delivery date shown by the shipping carrier.

Eligible Returns

To qualify for a return or exchange:

  • The engine must not have been installed or used.

  • No repairs, modifications, or alterations may have been performed.

  • The engine must remain in original condition.

  • Original packaging, paperwork, and included accessories must be returned.

  • Proof of purchase is required.

  • The engine must not have been damaged while in the customer's possession.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Installed engines

  • Engines that have been started, operated, or tested

  • Modified or disassembled engines

  • Special-order or custom-sourced engines

  • Products sold as-is, core units, or parts-only items

  • Requests submitted after 90 days

Exchanges

We accept exchanges for eligible products.

Exchange requests are subject to inspection and approval. Returned engines must meet all return eligibility requirements before an exchange can be processed.

Restocking Fee

Approved non-defective returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

This fee covers inspection, handling, administrative processing, testing, and repackaging costs.

No restocking fee applies to approved returns involving verified shipping damage or confirmed defects.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for approved non-defective returns.

Because engines ship by freight, returned items must be properly secured and packaged to prevent shipping damage.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is approved due to a shipping error, verified shipping damage, or confirmed defect.

Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused.

Damaged or Defective Engines

If your engine arrives damaged or you believe there is a defect:

  • Inspect the shipment before signing delivery paperwork.

  • Note visible damage directly on the driver's delivery documents.

  • Report concealed damage or defects within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Provide photographs and a description of the issue.

Approved defective or shipping damage claims are not subject to restocking fees.

Return shipping assistance may be provided for approved defective returns.

Refunds

Once a returned item is received and inspected, approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.

Refunds cannot be sent to another card, account, or third party.

Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are typically processed within 7 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected.

Your financial institution may require additional processing time before funds appear.

How to Start a Return or Exchange

  1. Contact our team to request return or exchange authorization.

  2. Provide your order number and reason for the request.

  3. Follow the instructions provided by our team.

  4. Ship the approved return to the address above.

  5. Once received and inspected, your refund or exchange will be processed if approved.
