JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) engines are built for vehicles in Japan. Due to strict vehicle inspection laws (Shaken), cars are retired early, meaning these engines typically have significantly lower mileage (often 40k-70k miles) and better maintenance histories than comparable USDM engines.
Engines are sold as "Long Blocks". External accessories (alternator, starter, A/C compressor, harness) are sometimes left on as a bonus, but they are not guaranteed and are not covered under warranty. We recommend swapping these parts from your original engine.

We sell both. The condition is clearly labeled on the product page. "Used" engines are inspected and tested. "Refurbished" engines undergo additional servicing and component replacement.
