1. What is a JDM engine?

A JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) engine is originally manufactured for vehicles sold in Japan. Due to Japan's strict "Shaken" inspection laws, vehicles are retired early, meaning these engines typically have lower mileage and high maintenance standards compared to US counterparts.

2. Are your engines used or refurbished?

We sell both. The specific condition is clearly labeled on every product page. "Used" means inspected and tested. "Refurbished" means the engine has undergone additional servicing and part replacements.

3. How much does shipping cost?

Engines: Flat rate of $150.
Wheels/Tyres: Flat rate of $50.
We ship to the Continental United States only.

4. How long does shipping take?

Order Processing: 1–2 business days.
Transit Time: 3–7 business days via Freight carrier.
You will receive a tracking number once the order ships.

5. Do I need to be home for delivery?

Yes. For engine freight deliveries, someone must be present to sign for the pallet. The carrier will typically call you to schedule a delivery appointment window.

6. Is liftgate delivery included?

Yes, liftgate service is included for residential addresses at no extra cost. Please note that delivery is Curbside Only—the driver cannot move the engine into your garage.

7. What if my engine arrives damaged?

Critical: You must inspect the pallet before signing the delivery receipt. If you see damage, note it on the driver's paperwork. Internal defects must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery.

8. Do engines come with a warranty?

Yes, most engines come with a start-up warranty or a specific mileage warranty. Please check the specific product page for the exact warranty terms applicable to that engine.

9. What is the average mileage?

While we cannot guarantee exact mileage on used engines, JDM engines typically range between 40,000 and 70,000 miles due to Japanese vehicle lifecycle regulations.

10. Can I return an engine?

Returns are accepted within 30 days only if the engine is unused and uninstalled. A 25% restocking fee applies to non-defective returns. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the unit is defective.

11. Do engines include accessories?

Engines are sold as "Long Blocks" (head and block). Accessories such as alternators, starters, AC compressors, and wiring harnesses are usually included as a bonus but are not guaranteed or covered under warranty.

12. Will this fit my car?

We strongly recommend verifying your engine code and vehicle specifications before purchasing. While we can offer advice, final fitment compatibility is the customer's responsibility.
