Warranty Coverage
Arthur Gonzalez JDM Engines provides a 30-day limited startup warranty on all refurbished engines, effective from the date of delivery.
What's Covered:
- • Internal engine components (block, pistons, rods, crankshaft)
- • Cylinder head and valvetrain components
- • Engine startup and basic operation
- • Manufacturing defects in refurbishment process
What's NOT Covered
Exclusions:
- • Wear items: gaskets, seals, belts, hoses, filters
- • External accessories: alternator, starter, A/C compressor
- • Turbochargers and superchargers (separate warranty may apply)
- • Transmission components (engines with transmission have separate coverage)
- • Wiring harnesses and ECU units
- • Cosmetic issues that don't affect engine operation
- • Normal wear and tear during operation
Warranty Void Conditions
The warranty becomes void under the following circumstances:
Warranty Claim Procedure
To file a warranty claim, follow these steps:

Provide Documentation
Submit order number, photos of issue, and detailed description of problem
Technical Review
Our technicians will review your claim and may request additional information
Inspection Required
Engine must be returned for inspection before warranty approval (shipping costs may apply)
Resolution
If claim is approved, we will repair, replace, or refund per warranty terms
Warranty Resolution Options
For approved warranty claims, we offer the following resolution options:
Repair
Fix the specific issue at our facility
Replace
Provide equivalent replacement engine
Refund
Full refund if repair/replacement not possible
Important Warranty Notes
- This warranty covers refurbished engines only, not used engines sold "as-is"
- Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to original purchaser
- Professional installation by qualified technician is strongly recommended
- Compression and leak-down test results available upon request
- Customer responsible for shipping costs unless defect confirmed
