Despite sharing displacement with the F22 family, the H22A is a distinct architecture — the DOHC VTEC head, bore/stroke, rod ratio, and forged bottom end are unique to the H22 series. It was never a factory fitment in the Civic, Integra, CR-X, or Del Sol, but its compact dimensions and B-series-style mounting have made it the most common high-performance swap into all four chassis using off-the-shelf mount kits.

Every engine we supply is compression tested on all 4 cylinders, variant confirmed (H22A1, H22A2, H22A4, Type S, Type R), and OBD1/OBD2 configuration documented before it ships — critical given that ECU and harness must match the variant.
